Terms
Terms of sale.
What you are buying, what it costs, and how a refund works. These terms cover data products bought from this site. Software licenses are issued separately and on their own terms.

What you are buying
Raster products are sold by the cell: one or more one-degree cells of map data, delivered as an OGC GeoPackage in WGS 84 (EPSG:4326) with a pre-rendered tile pyramid to zoom 17.
The OpenStreetMap shapefiles are sold by the region: one continent of extracted features as ESRI Shapefiles, delivered as a zip in the same reference system. They are not cut to the one-degree grid.
Everything here is bought outright and kept. There is no subscription, no access token, and nothing reports back to us once the file is on your disk. The map explorer is the authoritative list of what can be bought: published raster coverage is a bounding box with gaps inside it, so a cell with no file cannot be selected and is never charged for.
Price and payment
Cells are $1.00 each and shapefile regions are $400 each, in US dollars, with a $10 order minimum measured on the data alone. Any sales tax that applies is calculated at checkout and shown to you before you pay.
Delivery
Download links are issued once payment settles, and stay valid for 14 days. They are emailed to the address on the payment and listed on the order page you return to after paying.
Cells run from a few hundred megabytes to just over four gigabytes, and a shapefile region from about 90 megabytes to 33 gigabytes. A dropped transfer resumes only where the file supports it, so a wired connection is worth using for the larger ones.
Refunds
Ask within 14 days of purchase and you get a full refund, whether or not you have downloaded the files. Email contact@lcic.xyz and quote the order reference from your confirmation email.
The refund window is the same 14 days the download links last, deliberately, so the right to a refund and the ability to download end together.
What you may do with the data
The sources underneath carry terms set by the people who published them rather than by us. NAIP imagery is in the public domain. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database License, whose attribution and share-alike obligations travel with the data to you. The licensing page states what applies to each product, and the acknowledgements page lists the source terms in full.
What you may not do is resell the packaged files themselves, as files, as your own data product. You are buying them for your own use, including commercial use, and for the work you build on them. This restriction covers our packaging, tiling, and extraction work only. It does not reach the underlying sources, and nothing here removes a right the Open Database License grants you in OpenStreetMap data.
Export control and governing law
Data sold here is subject to US export control under the EAR and ITAR. Moving it outside the United States is your responsibility to clear.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
