Martin Chapman is a systems architect and geospatial technologist with over twenty-five years of experience building mission-critical spatial data infrastructure, computer vision pipelines, and high-velocity distribution platforms. He has specialized in the industry's most demanding data problems, engineering architectures that index, mosaic, and deliver multi-exabyte datasets across cloud environments, distributed clusters, and tactical edge devices operating in disconnected, low-bandwidth conditions.

At LCIC, Martin directs the architecture and development of high-performance spatial services, offline-ready mapping solutions, and edge-deployable data packages. His work bridges low-level systems engineering and modern machine learning: high-throughput asynchronous I/O, multi-threaded pipelines, and accelerated inferencing across complex 2D and 3D datasets, including satellite imagery, massive point clouds, vector data, and real-time full-motion video.

Before founding LCIC, Martin led the design of flagship commercial geospatial software suites, patented spatial algorithms, and OGC-compliant mapping microservices used across enterprise and defense sectors. His background spans low-level C++ systems design, distributed sensor networks, and real-time AI perception models. LCIC was built on that foundation: streamlined, uncompromising geospatial performance and reliable data products delivered directly into the hands of engineers, operators, and analysts.
